Senior Inside Sales Representative



The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating qualified appointments for our mid-market and Enterprise Sales Representatives. The Inside Sales Representative will reach business targets through excellent telephone sales and communication skills. This individual will develop his or her phone-based appointment generation through the initiation of prospect calls into marketing qualified leads, enrolling prospects into a weekly webinar and establishment of ongoing rapport with potential customers. Job Duties:

  • Proactively expand new business through outbound lead generation and prospecting via heavy direct/cold calling and emailing into specific targets
  • Manage, record and track potential customer information, appointments and activities
  • Follow-up on incoming email and phone leads daily and in a timely manner
  • Use tools such as Internet searches, email and references to research, identify and create new business opportunities within targeted territories
  • Create new leads in customer relationship management software
  • Responsible for providing weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Attend sales training where applicable
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support inside business development, lead generation campaigns and activities such as trade shows, lunch and learns and exhibits
  • Partner with sales team to schedule meetings with prospective customers and pass qualified sales opportunities


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 2 - 3 years of experience in lead generation activities, calling/appointment setting and developing sales
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in research/list generation, history, tracking and coordination
  • 2 - 3 years of Inside Sales experience, preferably in a solution-sales or technology-related environment
  • Ability to explain technical, industry and market facts to position products and services
  • Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Keen understanding of the general sales process/customer satisfaction and expectations
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Assertive and self-driven, able to establish the decision maker and qualifying the lead
  • Tenacious and results-oriented
  • No fear attitude in cold calling
  • Confident, persuasive and able to deal with rejection on the way to securing the next meeting
  • Ability to work individually and as a part of a team
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Ability to engage clients and excellent presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power point, Outlook, Word, Excel)
